Romantic Gestures
Friday, March 30, 2012 at 4:25PM Today, as another of my flash fiction stories for Sharon & Alex published at The Ravens Crossing, I found myself thinking back over my teenage memories of romantic gestures. Today, Alex tries for a little romance with Sharon. If you haven't read his story, romantic gestures are not the kind of thing Alex is comfortable with. As his creator, I can assure he agonized over what to do and say. And, though the story is told from Sharon's POV, Alex is obviously way out of his comfort zone. While I was chuckling over my own memories of my own teenage romances, some good and some not so great, something made me look up the words on Youtube, and this funny little film by Jakson Bohlender popped up. It cracks me up, so I thought I'd share it.
