Hey ya'll. I'm thrilled to announce that three more books from The Ravens Crossing are now available over at Amazon.

The Ravens Crossing Book Five is an the anthology of all three current Season Five stories written by myself, Andi Lea, and West Thornhill over at The Ravens Crossing. To catch up on Season Five, go here.

There is also a brand new story, for all of those following Darien and Lani. Don't miss the first book in the Wildwood Tides series, a prequal to the current TRC storyline. This story has never appeared on the TRC website. Find out how Darien and Lani met in Hawaii. It's a big adventure which might explain quite a bit about their current relationship. To purchase a copy, click here.

In addition, for all those following West Thornhill's Wildwood Dreams, the prequal to that story is also available here. Find out how Keenan and Sera met.

And just because it's summer break over at TRC, don't think for a minute there's nothing to read. We have tons of fun summer posts planned, so check back on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays to find out what's happening in Wildwood. Have a fantastic summer, and as always thanks for reading!!

Creative Update: TRC Season Four and Art on 12th

Hello world. I am back from a long hiatus. Call it a creative retreat, if you will. The juices have been flowing. I have a few new paintings completed and lots of environmental art showing this weekend. There is an opening tomorrow at my studio, Art on 12th, on the corner of Grace and 12th Street in downtown Lynchburg from 2-4:30. Stop in for good food, good drinks, and lots of art. All of the studios will be open. Here are a couple of my new pieces that will show. Come by and join us tomorrow.

In other news, Season Four of The Ravens Crossing is in full swing. This season, my story, Wildwood Tides, posts every Friday.

Wildwood Tides is focused on Morgan's little brother, Darien, and a smoking hot Water Gaea named Lani he met summer before last while on vacation in Hawaii. Lani broke Darien's heart when he ditched Dare after he left the islands. But, now, Lani has moved to Wildwood, and he wants a second chance. For Darien, the past is not just water under the bridge. Dare's got mad Air Gaea skills that have forced him to be extremely guarded. He doesn't trust easily, and once that trust is broken? Lani is finding out Darien might be gone in a flash.

Check out the story online at www.theravenscrossing.org every Friday. You can also read Wildwood Knights by Andi Lea on Mondays, and Wildwood Dreams by West Thornhill on Wednesdays.

This project has been running online for over three years, providing free quality YA LGBTQ fiction. The first three seasons are available as eBook anthologies at online booksellers everywhere. A portion of the proceeds from every sale go to our partnering QUILTBAG organizations like The Straight but not Narrow Campaign and The Make it Safe Project of the GSA. Check the book page on this website for links. Hope to see you around the Wildwood neighborhood

The Ravens Crossing, Book Three Now Available!

Yes indeed. The Ravens Crossing, Book Three is out and available for all at Amazon and Smashwords. Plus, we have new fantastic covers thanks to the talented graphic designs of Andi Lea. In case you are new to TRC, I've copied our note from the authors page below for more on the project. It's great entertainment for those in search of something new.

Note from the Authors -

The Ravens Crossing was born in 2011. We launched the website, www.theravenscrossing.org, and the online series in February of 2012. At the end of each season we collect all of the stories into an anthology. Purchasing the books allows us to continue. As of writing this, we are preparing Season Four and more.

If this is a new discovery for you -  welcome aboard! TRC is an online series that runs real time in the fall and spring. The story is complex and full of layers. Three authors write multiple characters and multiple points of view. It's a continuing soap opera in words we've been compared to several paranormal shows on  television.

If you like Jennifer L. Armentrout, Richelle Mead, or Cassandra Clare mixed with Sherrilyn Kenyon or J.R. Ward - then you're going to enjoy The Ravens Crossing. TRC is new adult fiction with a LGBTQ and Ally twist. We have characters for everyone.

So far, we have written over 1.5 million words. And we're not done.

Learn more about us and The Ravens Crossing at www.theravenscrossing.org.

Thanks for reading,

Andi Lea, Amanda Corlies, and West Thornhill

Hopping with HAHAT and The Ravens Crossing

Be the change you want to see in the world. Cliche? Perhaps, but when it comes to fighting the diseases of homophobia and transphobia, aka intolerance, it has become the mantra that continues to lift me up. It's one reason why I'm proud to join the voices in this years Hop Against Homophobia and Transphobia (HAHAT). I have very personal reasons for wanting to be involved, but I shared those last year. This year, I'm focusing on how I've tried to embody change.

In order to live by that mantra, of course, I get involved politically in efforts to stop intolerance and promote equal rights for all every chance I get. I strive to give back to my LGBTQIA community as often as I can. But, one of the ways I give back that I am proudest of is by co-creating and writing for an online project called The Ravens Crossing (TRC) with two of my dearest friends and college alums, Andi Lea and West Thornhill.

For the past two years, we have been publishing a free, online, serialized YA/NA Paranormal story that promotes diversity and acceptance for all the colors of the rainbow. The series has gathered quite a large following of readers. Thanks again, awesome readers. There is nothing better than knowing we have provided escape, entertainment, and comfort to a diverse audience. Every voice out there showing tolerance and acceptance counts, particularly for those who have to live and survive in the face of abuse and hatred on a daily basis.

TRC is created and run entriely by a group of wonderful and passionate volunteers. We are now nearing the end of Season Three online. Seasons One and Two are published as eBook anthologies. TRC intentionally keeps the price points on our books low, to provide reading that is as affordable as possible. And a portion of the sale of every book goes back to organizations that help LGBTQIA young adults.

The project partners with organizations like the GSA's Make it Safe Project and the Straight but not Narrow Campaign among others. Anyone who cannot afford to purchase a book is always welcome to contact us, by the way. We are glad to donate books to those in need.

Today, is the International Day Against Homophobia and Transphobia. Like every disease that infects us, we are beyond due for a cure for these intolerances. I have faith that with the help of technology bringing the world together and a general human savvy, the cure is coming. It's written in the actions of our young adults, who have voted more than once, spoken loudly and publicly, to prove they believe in human rights for all. They want change, and people, change is happening. Progress is marching forward and it seems to be moving in the right direction. New states are passing marriage equality laws. Heck, entire countries have already beat us to making same-sex marriage legal nationwide. Like Macklemore, I realize this won't change us, it won't rid us of the disease of intolerance entirely, but "It's a damn fine place to start." It's a sign that progress will keep on marching.

Every voice counts, so thanks to all those raising up their voices today for this year's Hop Against Homophobia and Transphobia (HAHAT).

In celebration, I am giving away a free eBook copy of The Ravens Crossing, Book One,  The Ravens Crossing, Book Two, and The Ravens Crossing, Book Three. All three books will go to one lucky winner. In order to be entered, leave a comment any time between now and May 27th and include your email address. The winner will be chosen at random and emailed at the end of the hop, so be sure to provide your contact info to be eligible. Thanks for stopping by. I hope you too will consider, if you haven't already, how you can be a part of creating change in your community.  Then, click the links in collection  button below to find out what a whole bunch of other cool people are doing.
