    Determination is Key.

It's been a busy month here on the farm. The Mom and her beau, Jean and Gene, are off RVing across the country. You can actually follow their travel journal complete with fab photos at The Old Pair of Jeans. I love that they are off on their grand adventure. They've been so excited about it. However, this means I am the lone farm girl for three months. Not that I'm complaining mind you. It just means breaking out some determination if I'm going to keep so many balls in the air. But, determination I can do and do well. I guess I come by that honestly. I'm making it work with a little help from my friends. Thanks friends!

Though the blogging has been a little less frequent, the creative writing is going spectacularly. The Ravens Crossing, Season Two is in full swing. Along with my fellow authors and college friends Andi Lea and West Thornhill, and all of team TRC, we have accomplished more than I ever dreamed possible in the past 8 months. Plus, we have so much more fantastic stuff planned. It often amazes me what we can come up with when we put our minds together. Anyway, in the interest of keeping all my balls in the air, you know, things like meeting writing deadlines, getting paintings ready for an upcoming show, and mowing 46 acres of farm, I'm going to have to get a move on. In honor of TRC and the hard work and determination of our team, I thought I'd post my all-time favorite example of Corvid intelligence in action. Even the crows know it to be true. Determination is the key to success.

Well, that explains all the birds crossing the street. *lol* So, clever.
