Proud of Cory's Pride
Sunday, July 15, 2012 at 3:34PM My story for the Love is Always Write event over on Goodreads has published. The title, in case you are just joining me, is Cory's Pride. Here's the blurb:
This story is a spin off of The Ravens Crossing.
Cory Stephens, the lion keeper at the Larabee Wild Animal Park, has had a ferocious year. He just lost two of his best friends to a car accident, and now his favorite lion, the cat he's most attached to, is limping again. It’s not the best time for a hot new vet to stalk into his barn and start making decisions for his pride, even if the man does drive his hormones wild.
Dr. TJ Dylan has just taken his first full-time exotic veterinary post, a position he’s worked tirelessly to achieve. Fresh out of residency, he’s eager to make a good impression as a respected professional. The last thing he needs is to get involved with a zoo employee. But, he can’t seem to resist the magnetism of Cory and his pride.
This is a free read on the M/M Romance Group on Goodreads. You have to join the group to read the story, but once you join there are 150 stories by a whole bunch of authors and all of them are free. Some are even downloadable, so you can fill up your ebook readers with tons of summer fun. Anyway, it's nice to know people are reading and enjoying my little spin off novella. Thanks to all of you who read, and especially to those who took time to comment. I appreciate your feedback. Oh, and be sure to look for the other two TRC spin off stories on the Goodreads group this summer by West and Andi, both.
Over at The Ravens Crossing, our summer break has officially begun. But, don't worry, the fun does not end while the authors are on vacation. Because we, my friends, are going to Wildwood for our summer trip. Check back in to TRC every day over the next three weeks to read all about our adventures in Iowa City. I've packed my bags and I am headed to The Ravens Crossing with Andi Lea and West Thornhill. Hope to see you there.
