Celebrating Earth Day, Week 10, and My 110th!
Tuesday, April 17, 2012 at 11:04AM The number ten is big this week. I have no idea what than means to numerologists, but I'm sure it's huge. Plus, Earth Day is this coming Sunday, one of the most important days of the year, if you ask me. So, I'm having a small celebration and you are, as always, cordially invited.
Not only is this the 10th week at The Ravens Crossing, the young adult, science fiction/fantasy project I am a part of with two other authors, but this also happens to be my 110th post on this blog. I couldn't have planned that if I tried. But, it seems meaningful. In fact, it feels like a huge accomplishment.
Thanks to those of you who have been reading. Though I am doing a happy dance over here and providing you with these little factoids, the real celebration is taking place over at The Ravens Crossing this week. I know, I know. It's another button you have to click. How inconvenient. Still, I hope you will make the jump. Today, another section of my story, Morgan & Holly, was published. But, it's not the typical 1000 word flash fiction. It's triple in length and told from both character's perspectives. In fact, all of the stories this week will be double in length at least.
People have been asking us for more, so we decided to celebrate Earth Day and the number 10 by delivering. Yesterday, Lucas & Riley by Andi Lea, was a full-length short story. So, you might want to start there. Then, follow along all week for more by Andi Lea, West Thornhill, and me. It's going to be great fun. Happy Earth Day. Happy Week 10. Happy 110th to me! Thanks again for reading.
