Doing Jonny Buckland
Friday, April 13, 2012 at 10:29AM Today, another short segment of my Sharon & Alex story published over at The Ravens Crossing. It's a young adult, sci-fi, fantasy adventure, and its online for free right now, in case you haven't been keeping up. This story has been so much fun to write. I can only hope people are enjoying reading about these two characters as much as I enjoy writing them. I get lots of compliments on Alex, in particular. In today's episode, Alex does his best Jonny Buckland imitation to one of my current favorite songs, "Every Teardrop is a Waterfall" by Coldplay, though I am not allowed to say that or use any lyrics in the story without paying out the nose, more's the pity. You would think artists and their record labels would want all the free advertising they can get as long as they are given proper credit for their work, but that isn't the case, apparently. Regardless, this is the song I had in mind when I wrote the story. So, in Alex's honor, and without further ado, here is the official video. Go give Sharon & Alex a read.
